>Map >Satellite Alkali Sink Ecological Reserve adjoins the Mendota Wildlife Area on the east.
The vegetation is relict grassland and includes some species typical of the valley alkali sink community such as Delphinium recurvatum, Plantago elongata and Lepidium dictyotum.
The rare Fresno kangaroo rat, Dipodomys nitratoides exilis, may occur here.
Integrity: The area has been grazed and fenced. Use: Research, educational, observational.
